Hello and welcome! I am Mary Jenkins, an associate clinical social worker (ASW98011) under the supervision of Christina LaMonica (LCSW#74312) with a passion for helping kids, teens and young adults work through the struggles and challenges of life.

I obtained my master of social work degree from Cal State University Fullerton with an emphasis on Community Mental Health, and have worked as a therapist in outpatient, PHP, IOP, and residential settings with children, teens, and adults.

After the last few years I know many of us are tired of sitting in zoom meetings. Through my training in play therapy based interventions I have developed an engaging and interactive telehealth approach using CBT, DBT, and Psychodynamic perspectives. I incorporate interactive modalities including art, games, music, story writing, movement and more. I am also trained in using virtual sand tray modalities with adolescents in telehealth sessions.

Over the years I have also had the honor of working with a wide array of populations including homeless families, survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, and individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health challenges.

As a therapist, my goal is to help kids, teens, parents and families increase their ability to understand, support and connect with each other.
