Hi, my name is Ju-In Lee.

I am a second-generation Korean German American and currently a clinical psychology doctoral student working under the supervision of Dr. Joanne Scott (PSY31240).

I hold bachelors degrees in international management and economics as well as a masters degree in marriage and family counseling and a masters of divinity. My clinical experience includes working at a college counseling centre in the US with diverse populations, including individuals who have presented with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and personality disorders. Further, I have provided group therapy to Korean, Chinese, and German youth and adults in Europe, as well as individual therapy to refugee populations in Asia.

My orientation draws from a variety of theories such as relational psychodynamic, attachment, and internal family systems combined with a client-centred approach. I hope to provide a welcoming and safe therapeutic space in which my background and work experiences as well as passion for individualised and holistic service may find the opportunity to crystallise as helpful to you.
