Hi, my name is Priscilla and I am a registered psychological assistant working under the supervision of Dr. Rachael Berg-Martinez. I received my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Irvine in 2021. I also received a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University, Orange, and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University, San Diego.
I have worked in several settings including inpatient and outpatient care, educational setting, and private practice with a wide range of ages. Through my experience, I’ve enjoyed assisting those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and family/relational issues. I also developed a passion for self-discovery and personal development work with individuals in a transitional phase of their life. I understand it can be discouraging to face life’s challenges alone, so I strive to work with the utmost diligence to provide support and a positive therapeutic experience.
I delicately approach each individual with an attachment theory orientation and help develop useful strategies through CBT and DBT skills. Nonetheless, I understand the importance of tailoring my approach to meet your needs, which gives us a great opportunity to develop a genuine rapport. I am excited to be on this journey with you.
