Hello there! My name is Kambria and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW99479) here to provide you with a safe, non-judgmental space to process life’s difficulties.

Looking for a therapist is the first (and perhaps hardest) step towards a healthier and happier life… and I hope to be the person to help ease the rest of your way down that path.

As a mother to two energetic children, I am passionate about supporting women and their partners as they embark on the journey into and throughout parenthood. From loss of our previous identities, to the days when we are surrounded by so many yet feel so lonely, I strive to help you find balance in life again by harnessing your strengths and helping you to create healthier coping skills and boundaries.

I have experience working with new mothers, children in foster care, adoptive parents, those experiencing infertility challenges, first responders, and chronically ill people and their caregivers. I use a strengths-based approach with emphasis on the family system so that we may all learn to support and communicate with one another effectively going forward. My objective is to meet you where you are emotionally and help you create and achieve realistic goals to increase your overall well-being, both as an individual and in your relationships.

I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Psychology and Social Behavior from UCI and then earned my Master of Social Work degree with an emphasis in Children, Youth, and Families in 2013 from CSULB. At that time, I began working within the Fost/Adopt field, educating potential foster and adoptive parents on trauma and loss (both within the foster care system and infertility), as well as supporting a family’s emotional and legal transition towards adoption. Later in my career, I gained experience working as a medical social worker. In this role, I was able to provide emotional support and resources to people facing mental or physical crisis as well as those undergoing cancer treatment and the bereaved. Today, I work towards helping you find your light to feel more like yourself again.
