Dr. Berg-Martinez specializes in treating trauma in children and adults, including birth trauma, disruptive behaviors in young children, parent-child attachment and relationship issues, and those impacted by foster care and adoption. She has been trained in the following evidence-based practices: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Incredible Years Parenting Program, Managing and Adapting Practices, the TIES Transition Model including Adoption-Specific Psychotherapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
