Life is in a constant state of change, which can be very difficult at times. Sometimes the change consists of getting stuck on your journey. I am here to help you get unstuck. You are not the problem; the problem is the problem and together we will map out problems and observe the effects of them on your life. Using a collaborative approach, we will dive into your past and change your problem saturated story to a preferred, empowering story. You are the expert in your life and it would be an honor to witness you and your story in the therapy room. Influenced by Narrative Therapy and Social Constructionism, we will also turn outside of the therapy room and consider the societal, cultural, political, and spiritual aspects that also affect your daily living.
My approach is best suited for creatives, artists and people who think outside the box or would be inclined to do so. I also have experience working with anxiety, depression, job stress, trauma, anger, Mom shame and guilt, relational issues, young adults adjusting to adulthood and communication difficulties. Along the way, I ask for feedback to make sure you feel supported, understood and heard. If you want to actively participate and make change in your life in a positive environment, I’d love to work with you!
